Management and supervision

Van Lanschot NV is a two-tier board company and the holding company of F. van Lanschot Bankiers NV.

The Board of Managing Directors of Van Lanschot NV is also the Board of Managing Directors of F. van Lanschot Bankiers NV. The members of the Board of Managing Directors are appointed by the Supervisory Board.

The Supervisory Board informs the General Meeting of Shareholders about its intended appointment. The members of the Supervisory Board of Van Lanschot NV are appointment by the General Meeting of Shareholders.

Executive Committee

On 1 December 2009 the Executive Committee was installed. This is a new consultative body in which a number of General Managers and the members of the Board of Managing Directors participate. The Executive Committee meets every month. The authority to take decisions continues to be the preserve of the Board of Managing Directors. The Executive Committee was established in order to stimulate the involvement of the General Managers in the Board’s decision making.
