Floris G.H. Deckers
CEO
Floris Deckers (1950) was appointed chairman of the Board of Managing Directors of Van Lanschot N.V. in 2004.
After completing a Business Studies degree at Erasmus University Rotterdam, Mr Deckers joined ABN AMRO in 1981, where he held various regional management positions in Western Europe. In 1994 he was appointed CEO of the Latin America business unit, based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Back in the Netherlands, he became CEO of the Netherlands business unit of ABN AMRO in 2001.

Mr Deckers’ areas of responsibility are the Corporate Secretariat, Legal Affairs, Compliance & Supervision, Human Resource Management and Corporate Office. He is also responsible for Van Lanschot Belgium, Group Audit and Corporate Marketing & Communication.
Term of office
Appointed on 1 January 2004 (appointed as Chairman on 1 May 2004), term of office expired on 1 January 2008. Reappointed on 1 January 2008, term of office expired on 1 January 2012. Reappointed on 1 January 2012. Floris Deckers has announced his intention to step down as Chairman of the Board of Managing Directors of Van Lanschot in 2012.
